The conceptual design of the aparthotel in Sućuraj on the island of Hvar was developed in collaboration with international investors as a holistic resort combining hospitality, sports, and public amenities. The project is grounded in respect for the Mediterranean landscape and a clear spatial organisation of the complex. The resort is conceived as a system of multiple buildings. Alongside the hotel structure, a subterranean garage with an active roof is planned, designed to accommodate sports courts. In the immediate vicinity, the renovation of the municipal sports centre and football field of the Municipality of Sućuraj is also proposed. 

Together, these elements form a functionally connected sports resort. The building is designed as an articulated volume positioned on a gently sloping terrain. The varying heights of individual volumes reveal their respective functions. Hotel accommodation units are organised within two – three storey volumes, whose slight displacement creates a side access plateau that introduces visitors to the hotel’s public spaces.

Public facilities are located within volumes with a single above-ground level, partially extending into the underground floor. The tallest volumes are further articulated with vertical façade openings, creating a finer architectural scale. The exterior landscape is shaped through terraces and retaining walls planted with Mediterranean vegetation, defining the pool area and the surrounding public outdoor spaces.

Materiality draws directly from the Mediterranean architectural context: a stone base combined with white rendered volumes, complemented by white brise-soleil elements that regulate solar exposure.

The hotel is designed with 40 accommodation units, accompanied by supporting amenities including a restaurant, café bar, spa area, outdoor swimming pool, and underground parking.
