Architectural Design

Architecture is a considered response to multiple, often competing, questions. It requires clarity among competing demands, ambition softened by realism. Studio Konkreet operates within this balance, shaping spaces that elevate living environments while remaining responsible to context, budget, and purpose. Across all phases, we lead the development of solutions that meet the highest professional standards, align with investor objectives, and generate enduring value for the wider environment and community.

The process typically includes:
• Urban planning studies, spatial analysis, and detailed micro-location research to understand the context, regulations, and development potential of the site.

• Development of the initial architectural concept, spatial organisation, and design strategy.

• Preparation of the main architectural project with defined volumes, spatial relationships, and core technical solutions.

• Development of the main project required for building permit approval, including coordination with all engineering disciplines such as structural, mechanical, electrical, and safety systems.

• Preparation of execution drawings with detailed construction solutions and architectural detailing at larger scales.

• Definition of materials, finishes, technical specifications, and preparation of cost estimates and bills of quantities.

Design Supervision & Project Management

It is essential to clearly define the responsibilities of all participants in the construction process, as misunderstandings often arise from a lack of coordination and expertise. We lead the design supervision process to ensure that the original concept is realised with precision and integrity. Throughout construction, we actively guide necessary adjustments refining solutions where needed although safeguarding the architectural vision. By maintaining oversight of key decisions, we ensure that efficiency never compromises design integrity or the overall quality of the project. Alongside design supervision, we direct the project management process from budgeting, contractors’ evaluation to coordination and purchasing strategy. This integrated approach allows us to control execution comprehensively, ensuring that every selected element faithfully reflects the architectural intent.

Interior Design

We approach interior design as a strategic redefinition of place. Each project begins with a careful reading of the existing condition, identifying opportunities to enhance organisation, efficiency, and conceptual clarity. Architecture and interior design are conceived as one. Through the alignment of planning, visual direction, and client objectives, we create interiors that are clear, purposeful, and refined. Our service includes design supervision and project management as a standard, not an addition. This ensures full control over execution and guarantees that the realised interior reflects the original vision precisely and without compromise.

Within Interior Design process, we guide the project through the following phases:

• Development of spatial organisation through several layout variations, leading to the final floor plan solution.

• Definition of the material palette, finishes, textures, and overall interior design concept.

• Creation of high-quality 3D renderings to communicate the spatial atmosphere and design intent.

• Preparation of detailed drawings for construction and craft works required for project implementation.

• Development of execution drawings for custom furniture and equipment, along with technical specifications.

Product Design

At Studio Konkreet, product design is not an addition, it is an extension of our architectural authorship. From concept development to final detailing, we lead the process to ensure that each object reflects clarity of form, structural logic, and design integrity. Commissioned by Tmara, we developed plexiglass Christmas ornaments and steel furniture handles, translating architectural authorship into objects of refined function and material precision.
